Descriptions:

The famous Monster motocross track is one of North Americas most talked about tracks. Built by hall of fame rider Mark Barnett, “the Monster” is one of the most scenic, fun-to-ride tracks in North America. Built on two incredible rolling Alabama hills, this track offers over 80′ of elevation changes and a variety of obstacle’s including the signature “Stairway to Heaven” uphill step-up triple and 120′ climb to the Monster finish line.  “Barnett Boulevard” named after renowned track builder and multi-time national and Motocross Des Nations Champion Mark Barnett, is both a crowd pleaser and a favorite to local, national and international riders.

The Vintage track is one of the most popular stops on the Southest Vintage MX (SEVMX) series and has played host to national vintage races.  Vintage riders frequently use the word “nirvana” when describing Monster’s popular vintage track.  With sections featuring loamy dark soil, deep sandy corners and red clay and its 60′ elevation changes, Monster Vintage is one of the most popular tracks we have.  Professional and top amateur motocrossers often sneak back to the vintage track to practice cornering techniques or to just have fun dragging handlebars in one of the deep sand corners. Beginning, Novice riders, kids and atv riders love this track!

The pitbike track is great for the little ones learning to motocross! Great beginner track for the PW-50 and CRF 50 set with simple to large table tops, step-on and off and a couple nice doubles.

Monster Actions Sports, LLC is making major strides towards making Monster Mountain a premiere woods riding and racing venue.  During the summer of 2010 over 5 miles of wide-open trails were cleared.  During December 2011 we added another 1.5 miles of single-track, bark-busting technical trails – with more of both to come.  Two teams of professional riders have already set up camp for the winter – training for upcoming premiere national woods racing series.  The 2011 season will see several team hare scarmble and other endurance woods racing events at Monster Mountain.
